two oh oh nine

Sorting Japan photos on the com. with my sis sitting on the bed beside me reading a 1995 Tess Gerritsen book. I wonder just how many of such moments are left.

I feel unsettled, and not at all rested despite going overseas for a 9 day trip, or rather because of it.

I spent my new year in a foreign bed in a foreign country sleeping a fever off, waking up at 1.30am on Jan 1 with a splitting headache. Having a little toenail peeling off caused me to sprain my ankle yet again on Jan 1. What a way to begin a year.

But the optimist in me is looking forward to the daily routines which somehow goes like this:
wakes up really tired, brushes teeth blah blah, runs for the bus, feels a bit of an adrenaline rush, listen to my mp3 on the bus, gets off the bus wondering why I take 40 minutes to go to school, reaches sch and immediately sees the yellow ball, the scheduled lessons, taking notes and attempting to be organized, and then go home.

Routines give me some control and relief.

I won't say I'm looking forward to 2009 but I'll take it as it comes in bite size pieces and hopefully not choke. Hope 2009 goes well for everybody too :)

Yiying! You finally opened up your blog :-) anyway was reading through some of your posts and remembered the "defender" thing. Sorry about that! But really, you are a good defender, and we'll miss you much during b div (which I am really pissed about, but that's another story).

Anyway, see you tomorrow at SL camp! :-D
