talk is cheap (but precious to me.)

I just need a long conversation with friend(s), snuggled in a chair on a rainy day, over a hot drink. Oh scratch the ideal conditions. I just need a long chat with dear ones. We haven't been talking for the past 2 years, not properly anyway. We're always rushing and chasing after the wind, never settling down to talk. Let's talk. Let's talk until we can't get a word edgewise. Let's pour into our friendship the time that we have lost. And most of all, let's talk face to face.

I disagree with her:

The case studies that she discuss only focus on people who are on an already-personal level with each other before utilizing the social media platforms to further their friendships/relationships. Being the facade of screens, one only put forths what one decides to, almost creating an ideal representation of what one wants to be seen as. It works because the nuances of body language and facial emotions are hidden.

Let's go back to the times when we met at playgrounds.

After Pastor Reuben's sermon on Sunday, I realized I have been talking too much and saying too little. (Read: One Note Samba by The Postmarks- minimalistic to the max but strangely comforting.)
Proverbs 18:21 The tongue has the power of life and death , and those who love it will eat its fruit.
Exercise. Self. Control.
