beauty per se

beauty in and of itself
cannot be found in this world.

I have only seen one artwork thus far (which isn't saying much since I don't really expose myself to art) that has distinctly evoked an emotional and maybe even biological response (something stirred in my heart).Blackfield by Ben David Zadok. It won't do any justice to post the photo of it here because the real engagement is in walking the length of the room to view the transformation. It only works once. The second time viewing it was just bland, the magic deprived of.

I once had a dream that I could create an artwork that would leave viewers speechless and gaping. Even the young me knew it was a far-fetched reverie.
